Ek Tha Tiger Music Review: Laapataįrom this point on composer Sohail Sen takes over and his first offering is Laapata, a fast, vivacious romantic track, which helps in lifting one’s spirits. The song, as the promos suggest, has been shot in a Middle Eastern setting and hence an Arabian/Persian influence in lyrics (by Kausar Munir) as well as the music. Wajid and Shreya Ghoshal render this track but don’t quite offer anything unique to the listener. Visually though it is expected to be a treat, courtesy Salman’ famous dance moves and some sensual moves by Katrina. Though much has been said and written about the song, musically it does not live up to the listener’s expectations. Ek Tha Tiger Music Review: MashallahĪlbum opens with Sajid-Wajid’s Mashallah (also appearing in a ‘remix’ version), which was officially launched by YRF just a few days back along with a press conference. While listeners are expecting something big in the offering here, composer Sohail Sen (of ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ fame) and guest composers Sajid-Wajid have been roped in to create magic along with various lyricists. No wonder, there are quite some good hopes that one has from the album. Not to mention director Kabir Khan who had ensured a hit music album for ‘New York’ despite the film being a thriller.
