#Frostpunk automatons plus
You should pick up 100 plus if you make it to every location and once they return, it will pop as you reach 700.ĮDIT: March 2021: in serenity mode (easy) I had 647 poeple and 53 automatons and the achievement pop (day 104). Some quick maths will tell you when you have enough. Use already discovered locations to increase travel speed.

Try to get to every location available as fast as possible. Some can be found via Exploration and brought back to New London. They can be built inside a Factory with the proper Resources. They are autonomous, giant walking robots that can work 24 hour days and can staff most Buildings. Depending on the distance, don’t be afraid to send them to the city instead of escorting them, you could do without the delays. While they dont exactly qualify as a citizen, Automatons perform the same duties as other citizens do. Send your 3 scouts out in different directions.

As soon as it ends, you will have 14 days to find and return as many survivors as possible. If you end up just over, kill some off until you are 599 or below. In conclusion, I can confirm that by far the most effective way of earning this is to gather survivors until you are just short of 600. There is no rush for this achievement, but when required to do so at the key stage which I explain shortly you need to be as efficient as possible to ensure success. I cannot confirm this as I have not tested it but other reports suggest this is correct so if you have the steam cores you can make up the numbers with automatons. I am led to believe that if you can make up the extra numbers with automatons. I wasted many hours believing that they would eventually spawn. After the second storm, if you hit 600 survivors or more and then weather a further storm, survivors will STOP SPAWNING. From researching, serenity has a higher cap of 700. Don’t do what I did and try and unlock it in endurance, you will never get enough as the cap is around 650. This can ONLY be achieved in endless serenity mode. I respect the other guide for this but I believe I have done sufficient testing and experimentation to write a more comprehensive one.
